2019 Annual Conference Calendar

7th Middle East Conference – February 2019, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Abstract submission deadline – June30th, 2018

Welcome to PCIC:

PCIC invites you to actively contribute to the exciting programme of our forthcoming Middle East and European conference events in 2019. PCIC is the premium forum for exchange of experience on the practical application of electrical and control technology in the petroleum and chemical industries with conference topics targeted at our audience of engineering companies, end-users and equipment suppliers.

So why submit an abstract?

Present your knowledge and practical experience to our worldwide discipline forum of industry experts, numbering over a combined 220 during the last year. The depth of cross industry representation at conference enables you to raise your personal and your organisation’s profile at a senior industry level and network efficiently amongst your engineering peers. Meet likeminded professionals and enjoy the stimulating discussions as a result of the fruits of your effort. This makes PCIC surely the annual must-attend event for authors and delegates, so why not?

Successful authors will:

  • Present their paper or technical tutorial at their selected conference
  • Have their paper or tutorial published with the official conference proceedings
  • Have their paper or tutorial published on our e-library and our website
  • PCIC may also, with the permission of the author, film the presentation for publication on our website

Technical focus for potential authors of papers and tutorials:

Life cycle management and value optimization of electrical and automation systems in Chemical, Oil and Gas industries

The emphasis for potential authors is on the development of technical papers, presentations and tutorials on the practical application of electrical and control technology in the petroleum and chemical industries. Specific priority will be given to those subjects addressing field experience and lessons learned, as well as new solutions to enhance safety and operational excellence. Conference delegates and authors represent industry experts drawn from end-users, engineering companies and contractors and manufacturers, regulators and insurance institutions, standardization bodies, certification bodies and other international organizations. The technical content of the papers, presentations and tutorials should talk to this specific peer group of expertise.
Strategic topics for conference are focused on four key areas of electrical and instrumentation engineering discipline application related to the petroleum and chemical industries, specifically:

Please note that:

  • If the subject of an abstract is expected to require more elaboration or is similar to other abstracts for the same conference, the authors might be asked to cooperate and submit a tutorial instead of a paper.
  • Authors wishing to submit the same abstract for both conferences are required to submit the abstract twice, one time for each conference.
  • Tutorials are not included in the Conference Record
